This yearly tournament gives Fore Hope participants and able bodied partners
the chance to compete in a golf event. This unique outing is the only one of
its kind in Central Ohio.
Our annual tournament offers a variety of therapeutic benefits including
socialization, participation and competition not only for our golfers with
disabilities but for family members and friends as well. This tournament is
named after Guy Derr, for he was the reason and catalyst for the Fore Hope
organization.
DENNIS WALTERS, long time friend and advisor to Fore Hope, is a
world-renowned golf trick shot artist and will be presenting his show at the
annual Fore Hope/Guy Derr Memorial Adaptive Tournament at 9:30am.

“If there is something you really want to do, no matter how impossible it may
seem, with enough hard work and perseverance…you can do it!” says Dennis, the
only person paralyzed below the waist who earns a living as a professional
golfer. His unforgettable show will astound anyone as he demonstrates the game
of golf from an adapted cart and shares his philosophy on life. Clinic is free
and held in conjunction with Fore Hope’s golf tournament for persons with
disabilities.
Sponsorships are available for Co-Presenting ($5,000), Co-Supporting
($2,500), and Co-Friend of Fore Hope ($1,000). Hole sponsorships
are $200.
Per player: Fore Hope participant $60
Able-bodied person $75
Registration 8am – 9am
Coffee and donuts 9:30-10:30am
