Objectives of Fore Hope
Increase awareness and educate the people and organizations who can help, and the people it serves, about its program in order to expand its growth.

Impact and access more of the people it serves and increases its reach to the people whose lives it improves through increased funding support.

The goal is to communicate to both potential and existing donors, as well as the people it benefits, that through Fore Hope, persons with disabilities can have fun while incorporating golf as part of their rehabilitation program – that no matter what their condition or socio-economic status, they have the opportunity to experience the joys and therapeutic benefits of golf.

Fore Hope’s audience are three groups: current and prospective financial supporters, referral audiences and participants.

Financial Supporters:
People and organizations whose psychographics include those who play and appreciate golf, understand golf and can easily see and understand how the game can produce and provide positive benefits to persons with disabilities. They care about people and want to help and share the game with them. In summary, the individuals
are more than likely healthcare professionals who enjoy golf. They can serve as both financial supporters, as well as referral sources. These people also potentially know someone who is close to them with a disability.

Referral Audience:
Fore Hope accesses the people it can help through both the surgeons and physicians as well as through the recreational  therapists located in the inpatient setting and the outpatient setting. Both groups are incredibly busy and short staffed due to budget cuts currently occurring in healthcare, and are struggling for reimbursement that is fair. They care very much about the people whose lives they affect. The Fore Hope program can be incorporated into and serve as a compliment to the protocol they lay out for the patient.

Participants:
The majority of persons with disabilities are fighters, have positive attitudes and want to be physically active and lead a healthy lifestyle.
